Mrs. Hermansen, I just learned of your son Kris' passing from Claude. I was the former Chairman of Duane Reade and had a number of occasions to meet with and deal with Kris. I want you to know that I always was impressed by his pleasant demeanor and his warm and engaging personality. He was a fresh and friendly face who contrasted greatly with the typical NY personality. I and many others will miss him much.
